Welcome to Fishlander Sportfishing Charters!  We want your time with us to be the best fishing experience you have ever had.  Our goal is to entertain you and and help you enjoy your day on the lake.  We fish Lake Michigan for salmon, steelhead, lake trout and brown trout from the port of Manistee, one of the finest sportfishing ports in the world.  Manistee, known as the Victorian Port City, is the home of huge King Salmon and feisty Steelhead trout.   Although our home port is Manistee, we fish the lake from Ludington to Frankfort, staying at least one week of each season in those ports.

We are well versed in all techniques of big lake fishing, from chasing Spring browns and Fall steelhead in 5' of water, to fishing 300' deep for Kings in over 700' of water.  Fishing on the big lake is great from May through October and Fishlander is out there for all of it.

Fishlander is a very family-friendly charter experience.  We love to introduce kids of all ages to the thrills of big lake salmon and trout fishing for the first time.  We also specialize in Corporate Outings and can accommodate large parties on multiple boats.  Contact us with your special requests, but please give us plenty of notice if you have special requirements.  Early Booking is recommended for large parties.

Our boat is conveniently located on River Street next to the drawbridge, within easy walking distance of great shopping, restaurants, pubs, lodging, and the finest donuts in the state!  Our new floating docks move up and down with the water level, insuring that there is always safe and easy access to the boat...no ladders required.

In addition to fishing charters, we will also take you on sightseeing trips.  The Lake Michigan coastline from Manistee north to Glen Arbor (home of Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes National Park) features some of the most beautiful scenery in North America.
